How it Works
An overview of the program's basic functionality.

Net Orbit can be setup across your entire network in as little as thirty minutes. This page describes how the software functions and the installation process. Described below are the two parts of Net Orbit.

Admin Application
Installs to the teacher's PC. The server is the main control panel and where the actual viewing and controlling will occur.

Client Application
Installs to each client PC. This small application allows a client PC to send data to the Admin Application as needed.

Installation Process

The summary below describes how the installation process works. It has never been easier to enjoy the power of this effective network monitoring tool. Act now to take back control of your employees or students.

First Step: Install Admin Application to Your Workstation
After your order is complete, you will be instantly emailed a receipt and instructions. Inside the instructions you will find the link to download the Admin Application. Click the link and install this application to your PC only. This application is for the admin PC only.

This Admin Application is where you will go to use Net Orbit in the future. It will allow you to view some or all student screens at once. This application will also allow you to connect to any PC to control it remotely, share files or chat with remote users.

Second Step: Install Client Application Across Your Network
Now that you have the server installed, its time to install the client software to the rest of your network. Copy the client installer to a network location. Then go to each PC and install from the network location. The installation takes only 1-2 minutes for each PC.

You should be sure to click "Allow" on any firewall alerts you see after installation. This will enable the software to communicate with the Admin application once you begin connecting to clients.

Third Step: Monitor and Control Your Entire Network
After you have installed the Client Application to each computer you wish to manage, its time to start using Net Orbit. Open the Admin Application on your PC. Then click the Add New Connection command. Run the scan for your network IP range to see the available machines.

After you add your connections you can then connect to any client by right-clicking it's thumbnail. You can then perform any of Net Orbit's commands, including viewing the screen in full size, annotate the client and more. All functions can be accessed now anytime you bring up the Admin Application.
